Mobile Application (OTIS Field)

American Rooter & Drain operates the OTIS Field mobile application ("App"), available exclusively to authorized employees and contractors.

Information collected by the App includes:

• Location data — GPS coordinates collected while the App is in use to support job proximity detection, automatic clock-in/clock-out, and navigation. Location may be collected in the background when the App is active.
• Camera and photos — Job photos captured through the App are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage and used for job documentation and quality assurance.
• Microphone and voice — Uses device microphone for voice-to-text transcription of work descriptions. Audio is processed locally on device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework and is NOT transmitted to or stored by American Rooter & Drain.
• Biometric data — Face ID and Touch ID used solely for local device authentication. Biometric data is processed by the device's secure enclave and is NEVER transmitted to or stored by American Rooter & Drain.
• Digital signatures — Customer signatures for estimate approvals, work completion, and payment authorizations are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage.
• Financing applications: Personal financial information (name, address, income, SSN) transmitted via TLS 1.3 directly to selected lender (GoodLeap or Synchrony Financial). ARD does not store, cache, or log SSNs or full financial account numbers. Governed by Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and FTC Safeguards Rule.

SMS Communications & Compliance (TCR 10DLC)

We are committed to responsible SMS communication:

• We do not share, sell, or rent SMS opt-in data to third parties, affiliates, or subsidiaries.
• SMS is used solely for service-related notifications (appointment reminders, job updates, customer support).
• We require explicit opt-in consent before sending any SMS messages.
• Every message includes an opt-out option — reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
• We maintain records of consent for compliance.

Sharing Your Information

We do NOT sell or distribute personal information, including phone numbers or SMS opt-in data, to third parties.

We may share information with: service providers assisting in business operations (payment processors, CRM platforms); and legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or regulatory compliance.
